That Uzbekistan LP... a little update

Konstantin, who helped obtain the Uzbekistan LP featured in my last post, has been in touch about the small print on the cover. On the back, we see this inscription:

The marking ТИР. 860 is significant. The ТИР inscription refers to the print run of the cover. So in this case, we have 860, meaning that just 860 copies of this record sleeve were made.

That makes it something of a rarity, not just for Top of the Pops collectors like me, but for fans of artists like Elvis, who appears in person on the disc. If only his millions of fans knew!
