Top of the Pops LPs feature on BBC TV!
Stop Press - BBC's early-evening The One Show has just broadcast an episode with coverage of the Top of the Pops album series, which includes interview material with session singer Martin Jay.

Thanks for link! They understated Martin Jay's achievements, as I immediately recognized him from 5000 Volts (his original lead vocalist in that band Tina Charles also big in.the session singing scene of course)
ReplyDeleteMartin Jay has a great voice, intact many of the songs he has covered are better than the originals.
