French LPs from the mfp "Hits" series

Looking for further info on the French "12 Tops" LP below, I chanced upon pictures of a few French LPs with material from MFP's "Hits" albums of the 1960s. These were all new to me, so I thought I'd share them here. They are on a French label called Top 12.

12 Super Succes - catalogue number SPR 900
The LP above, "12 Super Succes" is a compilation containing two tracks from "Smash Hits", five tracks from "Hits '68", and five which were not part of the UK discography: "Let's Go To San Francisco"; "Hello Goodbye"; "The Letter"; "Massachusetts"; "Bend Me, Shape Me".

Smash Hits - catalogue number SPR 901
"Smash Hits", despite the name, is not directly connected with the UK album of that title. Instead, this LP contains five tracks from "Super Hits", three tracks from "Hit Hits", and  four which were not part of the UK discography: "I Gotta Get A Message To You"; "Hey Jude"; "Light My Fire"; "With A Little Help From My Friends".

Hits Non Stop - catalogue number SPR 904

Hits Non Stop - back of sleeve
This LP is basically a French edition of the UK album, "Big Hits" - except that the order of the tracks has been changed around.

Big Hits - the UK edition of August 1969

On the back is the usual mfp slogan, "Can you tell the difference between these and the original sound?" as well as a French translation: "Notre defi! Pouvez-vous faire la difference avec les originaux?", plus images of the previous two LPs in this French series.

In the small print is a credit to BWD, Bill Welling's company which produced the MFP series, and also mention of CBS, who apparently distributed these albums, although they may have been for sale only by mail order.
